Most of the builders simply submitted a written bid, containing a list of specifications based on our custom house plans. Keith, however, was willing to sit down with us and review every detail, pointing out to us where we could save something here and there and put that savings toward better use elsewhere. Nothing he suggested was a compromise of quality, but rather an enhancement of the overall plan………He caught several mistakes in the plans drawn up by the Designer, mistakes that would have slipped by had it not been for Keith's vigilance……..The final completed product was even more than we expected, or contracted for, and in all honesty we must say that the credit belongs to Keith Brown our builder. In summary, we think he is without doubt the greatest custom-home builder in this city, or quite possibly in the state. We recommend this builder to anyone interested in building a custom home.

Cross/Racek Architects was very fortunate to have just completed its first project (in 2002) with Keith Brown Custom Homes. Cross/Racek Architects has practiced architecture for 25 plus years and we still have the "old school" traditional ideas on quite a few of our projects. This particular project was a large Georgian traditional home with all of the exterior details and interior details of molding and trim which takes a contractor and architect working together to make the proportions and details work out correctly. Keith understood this concept and it was evident in the finished product. Lots of contractors can put up moulding but it takes one with a sense of scale and proportion to do it the way old world craftsmen would have built it for the finished product to do traditional architecture.
